The Stop TB Partnership is a proactive global force in TB control. Established in 2001, it is a network of organizations working together to realize the common vision of a world free of TB. The Partnership is housed by the World Health Organization and consists of a Secretariat and seven working groups coordinated by a 34-member board.

The Stop TB Partnership aim to accelerate social and political action to fight TB. We help to forge consensus on strategies, coordinate responses, promote the supply of high-quality anti-TB drugs and generate action for the development of new diagnostics, drugs and vaccines. The Stop TB Partnership is actively expanding access to life-saving treatment for TB patients in the world's poorest countries.

The Advocacy Network provides an opportunity for partners who are interested in advocacy activities with a focus on resource mobilization to engage with other advocacy-oriented partners. The objective of the Advocacy Network is to increase the connection and coordination between partners working on advocacy around common themes and events. It will also provide a forum for sharing advocacy messages, information and initiatives across the Partnership through frequent contact by emails as well as regular phone calls.

In addition to regular contact and exchange throughout the year, Advocacy Network members will meet in person once a year. These types of regular contacts offer a means for partners to coalesce around activities such as: developing a comprehensive calendar of priority events; participating in innovative ways of communication such as "Open-Mic" sessions (providing partners the opportunity to set the agenda of discussions), providing input to TB messaging.
